He was considered as the father of science, technology and modern research. He is also one of the greatest Renaissance artist. He was a gifted man. Also, his creativity and his works were based on his psychological thinking. He think of impossible ideas that we often use this times; He is Leonardo da Vinci.
As I browse the internet, I read an article entilted "DaVinci’s Creation and Inclination: Art through the Eyes of Psychology as a Therapeutic Tool" by Vanessa Ben Shabetai and Laliv Cohen Israeli of novapublishers.com. It stated that he think and work deeply by his inner world, that his works were based in his bearing soul. He study something that is impossible in his time. His creativity were expressed in his writings and also it says that Leonardo is explaining that the painting must based in scientific research. He also opposed the 'mad brute', it was the war between military engineer making weapons for destruction. "Therefore insisting the creative process will be an ongoing mental one, reflecting and expressing his inner world" stated by the author.
I agree with the author, Leonardo da Vinci was obviously thinking of an idea that is based on his extraordinary mind. I was amazed by his psychological thinking that he think of ideas that is impossible in his time but now, we barely use things that were based in his ideas.
I also read another article entitled "Thinking like Lonardo Da Vinci" by Douglas Eby of psychcentral.com.
The article is comparing Leonardo Da Vinci between Steve Jobs. Leonardo said that “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” While Steve Job, the owner of the apple company said that “We tried to make something much more holistic and simple.” The article also said that when you are trying to solve a problem, the first step is you come up with are very complex, and most of the people stop there that is why they fail. The secret of solving a problem is to live with it, and do a step by step procedure and as the time goes by, you will often discover a simple solution. The author stated that "‘Confusion endurance’ is the most distinctive trait of highly creative people, and Leonardo probably possessed more of that trait than anyone who has ever lived."
Although Leonardo da Vinci and Steve Jobs lived in different time, the author was able to compare them in a very informative way. It shows how two people become successful despite they live in a different era, they become successful because they have same kind of thinking
